Verify your domain
Your jukebox's website lives on your own domain. A DNS record proves it belongs to you.
Choose the address
On the Domain page, enter a domain or subdomain dedicated to the jukebox, without https://, for example jukebox.my-bar.com. IP addresses, localhost, and jukebox.abyddos.com addresses are refused, and a domain can only serve one jukebox.
Add the TXT record
At your DNS provider, create a TXT record named _abyddos-jukebox.your-domain (some interfaces only ask for _abyddos-jukebox), with the abyddos-jukebox-verify=… value shown on the Domain page. Copy the value exactly.
Run the check
Tap “Check now”. The badge switches from “Pending” to “Verified”. If “Record not found yet” appears, wait a little: a DNS change takes a few minutes to an hour to spread.
The venue's QR code
Once the domain is verified, the Domain page shows a QR code that opens your jukebox's website: print it and put it up in the venue.
Change domains
A new domain gets a new TXT value and has to be verified again. Until then, your website can't reach the jukebox: make the change outside opening hours.
