Types of response
Depending on severity, Shield Network can rate-limit a source, block it temporarily, or add it to a lasting blocklist. Every action is logged.
Configurable policies
Thresholds and their associated actions are set per policy. That way you tune how aggressive the response is to the level of risk you accept.

A source blocked by mistake can be reinstated from the admin area. The event stays tracked for later analysis.
